English world rights 'Bonuskind' by Saskia Noort sold to Amazon Crossing
Amazon Crossing will not become the first foreign publisher of Saskia Noort's successful book. Previously, Bonuskind, which spent 34 weeks in the Bestseller 60 in the Netherlands, was published in German (Europa Verlag) and Czech (Grada).
Saskia Noort is thrilled about the upcoming English-language edition of her book:
''I am hugely honoured that Amazon has acquired the rights to Bonuskind and delighted that my book will soon be available to English-language readers.''
Alexandra Torrealba, acquiring editor at Amazon Crossing, has great words for the book and cannot wait to publish it:
“I devoured this story in one sitting, on a long plane ride. Even when the lights were turned off, I sat in the darkness, compulsively turning the pages. This mom-gone-missing plot moves at an anxiety-inducing pace, and to anyone who enjoys a great psychological thriller, you know that’s a very good thing! I was totally captivated by Lies’s plight to uncover the truth behind her mother’s disappearance, and when she finally did, I let out a huge gasp. Bonuskind is truly unforgettable.”
