Willemijn Peene new publisher Lebowski

The board of Overamstel Publishers has appointed Willemijn Peene (35) as the new publisher of Lebowski. She will start on January 1st, 2022. Martijn Griffioen, director of Overamstel: ‘In Willemijn, we have found a competent and enthusiastic publisher. Bold, and moreover part of a new generation. I am pleased with her arrival and look forward to continue building Lebowski Publishers together in the coming years.’

Fifteen years ago, Willemijn Peene took her first steps in the book trade. She worked at Meulenhoff Boekerij in various positions for seven years and currently works as an acquiring editor at Ambo|Anthos.
