More About Oogst
Romanian Alina travels with her 11-year-old son Lucian to Sicily to earn the money that is desperately needed at home. While Alina must constantly adjust her hopes and expectations during the hard work on a tomato plantation, Lucian meets two boys of his age with very different backgrounds. During their year of friendship, the three boys fight with each other, for each other and against the world. Until the world catches up with them. Oogst is a harrowing story about resilience and friendship, and about the struggle for a dignified existence at the bottom of Europe.
